Housing repairs
If you are renting your home (whether privately or from a housing association) your landlord is usually responsible for most repairs. Bad living conditions resulting from disrepair can affect your health or mean your home becomes dangerous to live in. If you are having problems with your landlord carrying out necessary repairs, it is best to get help as soon as possible.
Getting help
- If you are a private tenant you can contact Walsall Council's Homeless and Housing Advice Service if there is a problem with getting repairs done.
- Contact Walsall Citizens Advice Bureau or one of other local services that can give advice on your housing rights
